Care

Keep away from Fire, Do Not Bleach, Do Not tumble Dry, Do Not Dry Clean, Do Not Iron. To keep these fabrics in optimum condition and looking their best the following care is required: Do not bundle wet swimwear in towels or with other garments where colors may transfer to your SlipOn® swimwear. Do not leave wet for any length of time (as with all fabrics, mildew may occur). If it is going to be some time before you can wash the swimwear, then rinse in cold clean water and roll in a dry towel. Do not stretch the fabric apart from putting the garment on and off. Try not to do anything to the swimwear that you wouldn’t do with any other white or light colored clothing. When washing: Hand wash gently in clean warm water with a mild detergent and not with other colored or dirty fabrics. DO NOT ALLOW TO SOAK. Rinse twice in clean cold water. Gently squeeze out any excess water and leave to dry out of direct sunlight. You can either hang the item or lay it on a white, clean, dry towel. DO NOT BLEACH OR USE ANY OXY-ACTION CLEANER OR DETERGENT WITH BLEACH. This will cause the fabric to change color. Staining from sunscreens: You may experience some discoloration if certain sunscreen creams come into contact with the fabric. This is quite rare and in most cases will wash out. It is recommended that you test your sunscreen on a white fabric to see if it leaves a yellow residue before using with SlipOn® swimwear. Discoloration from sand: You may notice that dark sand gets trapped within the fibers in the fabric causing it to look spotty. All swimwear of this type suffers from this sort of problem. The quickest and simplest way to remedy this is to wait until the swimsuit is dry and then run a fingernail underneath the affected area. This will open the fibers and the sand grains will pop out.
